Overview
A growing problem
As you know, allergy affects the lives of thousands of people every year in the UK – and for around 2% of the population, it can even be life threatening.

According to the charity, Allergy UK, 33% of the population will visit their doctor or pharmacist at some point, because of allergy. As a medical professional, or alternative health practitioner, you need an allergy test you can rely on, to accurately diagnose allergies fast.

Without an accurate diagnosis, your patients may go on suffering symptoms unnecessarily, and you won’t be able to prescribe the best treatment.

A safe, simple solution
FastCheckPOC® is a revolutionary new allergy test developed by one of Europe’s leading diagnostic specialists, DST. Now it’s available here in the UK, through BHR, a leader in point of care diagnostics including the well-known Biocard Celiac Test. Unlike traditional blood and skin prick tests for allergy, FastCheckPOC® can rapidly test for more than 24 different allergens in two simple tests. There are two versions of FastCheckPOC® - one for testing airborne allergies, and the other for testing food allergies.

The test takes just 30 minutes to complete, and requires only 100µl (about 2-3 drops) of venous EDTA-blood or heparin blood. It is risk free, very patient-friendly and you won’t need any additional equipment or materials. The test will give you a rapid overview of the allergens that are causing your patient’s allergic symptoms - with both tests covering around 90% of major allergies found in Northern and Central Europe.
