PTS Cholesterol Test Panels

Designed for use with the CardioChek Blood Analyser – a portable, hand-held unit – the Direct LDL Cholesterol Test Strips provide a simple and immediate means of diagnosing and monitoring levels of LDL cholesterol.

Since results are delivered within minutes, patients who are found to have elevated LDL levels can be shown their results on the CardioChek screen. Seeing instant results provides impact, and can even help strengthen the call to action for the patient.

The measuring range of the PTS Panels Direct LDL Cholesterol Test Strips is 1.29-5.18mmol/L. A drop of a patients blood is placed on a test strip, which has been inserted into the CardioChek analyser. In around two minutes, a numerical value appears on the analyser. this value, when compared to standard guidelines, can determine whether or not the patient is within recommended limits or if they require management of their lipid profile.

With the exception of the triple and quad tests, all of the tests are supplied in packs of 25 and supplied with the relevant strip test memory chip but you will require a 15µl pipette to collect the blood sample. BHR can supply these along with 30µl and 40µl versions in packs.
